Joyce White was born in Mississippi. As a young black American women living in the deep south, she faced many enduring hardships. Joyce became and artist and designer by way of being a florist at one time in her life. While learning about fused glass She almost burned down her home, blowing up a kiln by putting the wrong materials into it. Now she is an Artist and Designer that has won for the past three years ribbons for her work. The first one she won was third place,in 2005. In 2006 she won 2nd place and 2007 she won first place!
Joyce White wants you to let her ” EXPRESS YOUR IMAGINATION THROUGH HER ART DESIGNS!” Her goals are to be in several upscale stores, museums, and perhaps a few galleries. Joyce White’s plan for in the next 3-5 years is to be a major designer and a house hold name.
